Welcome to our year 2 page.
We have lots of amazing children who love learning in Year 2.
PE
The children will have PE every Wednesday and Friday. Please ensure your child has the correct kit for these sessions. They will need a white t-shirt, a pair of navy blue shorts and some black school pumps. Please ensure all PE kit is clearly labelled with their name. Thank you.
We have a broad and balanced curriculum which we use our digital strategy to enhance our learning. We love to be creative with our learning and applying what we know to different aspects of our work.
Our doors open at 8:40am and registration is at 8:45am. Please direct any messages to the office via phone or Class Dojo. Our school day ends at 3:15pm
We have worship every morning at 8:50am, including a class assembly on Thursdays and celebration assembly on Friday, in which the children can share their achievements. (trophies, medals, certificates, badges etc).
Our mornings consist of maths, english, handwriting and spelling. Afternoons are when we learn about history, geography, RE, art, design technology, computing and science.
