✨Reception✨
Today in Reception we have baked some pumpkin cupcakes, we looked at measurements of how much ingredients we needed to add to the scales, we also looked at which ingredients were heavy and which were light. The children then took the left over cupcakes to our teachers around the school, this linked in with our Christian Values Kindness😀

✨Reception✨
This week in reception we have been looking and learning all about big and small objects. We then sent the children off into provision to look for objects BIG, Medium and small. We looked all different sized objects each object were different sizes. We Evan looked at our teachers at who was the smallest to the tallest. We linked this to problem solving which is our skill of the week.

In year 6, we have been looking at the remembrance poem “Flanders’s Field.” We then produced a piece of art to coincide with this. We used these to write our remembrance assembly.

Year 4 have kicked off the half term with some exceptional diary entries! ✍️📖
The children imagined themselves as Anglo-Saxon children, beginning their journey to settle in Britain, bringing history to life through their writing.
They have worked hard to embed new skills alongside those taught in previous years, showing fantastic progress in their vocabulary, sentence structure and writing techniques.
And just look at all those green highlights! 💚🌟 So much to celebrate and be proud of already this half term. Well done, Year 4! 👏
